An easy 10-minute drive from The Hills of Carmel, this beautiful outdoor haven blends wide open grasslands with tranquil, tree-lined bushland. Kids of all ages will love the expansive adventure playground, where imagination runs wild! They can ride bikes or scooters along winding paths, explore the newly revitalised nature play area, kick a ball around, or simply relax under one of the many picnic shelters.

And for those wanting a bit more peace and quiet, nature lovers, the Second Ponds Creek Walk offers a peaceful stroll through the lush, vibrant bushland. It’s flat, accessible, and an ideal way to reconnect with nature.

Brindle Parkway Reserve

The new sporting complex is conveniently located a 6 min drive from THOC, and features a wealth of new outdoor sporting and family-centric amenities for the community to enjoy. The reserve features two turfed playing fields, a half-court basketball facility, a playground, picnic facilities and public amenities for convenience – perfect for an active day out with the family.

Hannaford Avenue reserve

An easy 4 min drive from THOC, Hannaford Ave Reserve in Box Hill offers a great play space for the family. Featuring climbing and balance structure, swings, slide, rainbow chimes, carousel and a mini inground trampoline, the kids are bound to have fun using the equipment or engaging in imaginative play! The reserve includes a flat path, perfect for scootering, as well as a large, flat green space for kicking the ball around, or settling down to a packed picnic with the family.

Livvi’s Place Kellyville 

Now officially open, the newly upgraded Livvi’s Place all-abilities playground in Kellyville is bursting with exciting new features for families of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
Just a short 19-minute drive away, this vibrant playspace promises hours of fun with highlights including a multi-activity play tower, double flying fox, swings, multi-rocker, crawling tunnels, and a sandpit complete with activity tables and digging equipment.

Fred Caterson Reserve 

Just 22 minutes from The Hills of Carmel, Fred Caterson Reserve is one of the largest and most versatile recreational spaces in the area, spanning 58 hectares of natural bushland, playgrounds and sporting facilities including BMX bike track, remote control car track, soccer and cricket fields and tennis courts. Whether you’re into sports, nature, or family outings, this reserve has something for everyone.

50 New Stores Set for Rouse Hill Town Centre

The Rouse Hill Town Centre is undergoing a $200m expansion, responding directly community growth and demand.

The expansion will bring over 50 new shops to the district, growing the Centre’s space to over 80,000 sqm, offering a new mix of retail, leisure and dining options for everyone to enjoy, alongside a new Town Green and additional parking spaces.

While the new retail mix has yet to be announced, construction has commenced on-site with the new Rouse Hill Town Centre set to be unveiled before Christmas 2026.
