Our Growing Community

Civil construction on the Medium Density portion of The Hills of Carmel commenced in November, with plans for residential development to begin early next year, and proposed retail developments in the pipeline.

97 lots are complete and registered in the next stage of IZUMI. Construction of our new stage will begin in February 2026.

In 2025, just over 100 residents have moved into their new homes, helping our community continue to grow and thrive. Each new neighbour brings energy, friendship, and a sense of belonging, making The Hills of Carmel an even more vibrant and welcoming place to live.

It’s been wonderful to see families, couples, and individuals settle in, explore the amenities, and make the most of everything our community has to offer.

We’re also delighted to share a major milestone for the community: the 1,000th home at The Hills of Carmel has now been sold.

This achievement reflects the growth and momentum of the neighbourhood, as well as the confidence so many families have placed in making The Hills of Carmel their future home.

Lastly, we launched the next stage of our community IZUMI, which brings more land options for future Hills of Carmel residents.

Thank you to our residents for helping shape such a vibrant, welcoming community – we’re excited to continue building on this success together in the year ahead.

From festive celebrations at The Hills of Carmel to enjoying everything the community has to offer this season, we’re sharing what’s on this Christmas for the whole family.

Get into the Christmas spirit here:

The Vineyard’s Christmas Village

Experience the magic of the season at The Vineyard’s Christmas Village, where the venue comes alive each night with sparkling lights, festive displays and plenty of holiday charm.

Wander through the beautifully decorated grounds and discover cheerful touches and surprises along the way.

Open daily through to Monday 12 January, the Christmas Village is a wonderful outing for families, friends and anyone looking to enjoy a little extra Christmas spirit this year.

Illuminate The Hills

Illuminate The Hills is set to bring the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Rose Garden to life with festive sparkle right through to Thursday 1 January 2026.

Throughout the season, the gardens will glow with thousands of shimmering lights and eye-catching Christmas displays.

This year’s theme, “stars,” will shine across the space, complemented by feature installations including a 6-metre walk-through Christmas tree, a giant bauble seat and a traditional Nativity scene.

Located on Roxborough Park Road in Baulkham Hills, right beside Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre, the gardens are the largest rose garden in NSW, home to more than 4,000 roses across 80 species. Wide, paved pathways make the experience enjoyable and accessible for visitors of all ages, including those with prams or wheelchairs.

The lights will be on each evening until 10:30pm, offering plenty of time for families and friends to wander through and soak up the festive atmosphere.
